Brighter World

As the Entrepreneur 30-day Challenge is in full swing,
ask yourself this question: “What can I do to make my world brighter?” Two
years of social isolation and pandemic madness covered our globe from “pillar
to post”. This has brought out our best and our worst. Business remained in
business and some did not. Marriages got stronger and some revealed much more
than one would predict. Families experienced so many life changing events. We
are a changed society even though we’ve always been an ever evolving one.
What are we going to do with this new
opportunity for growth? Are we going to squander it and rely on the past as a
compass for what we need to do now? Are we going to do with this powerful
chance for brighten every community, every household and every part of society?
Yes, we were limited to smiles,
virtual hugs and handshakes. Every day seemed longer than the next. Our high
school and college graduates were attending commencements virtually at the
start of the decade.
This new chance we have is a like a genesis for something
more. We can embrace what freedom really means. We can make the best of every
situation. As businesses meet the wants, needs and demands of this world, how
are we making it brighter?
Business Owners do it through
innovation and constant evolution to meet the challenges, predicaments and
entanglements associated with keeping the world able to function. It is the new
subscription we buy. It is the new car that we drive. It is the flowers that we
give our loved ones. It is the important personal matters like finances,
insurance and legal protections. It is the freedom to say once again “I want to
take a vacation from all of life’s stressors” and be able to follow through.
We have a great opportunity like no
other. The expansion that we have before us is much greater than what we can
ever conceive in our minds. Business Owners have the experience of being
“battle tested” in dire circumstances. Consumers have more options, more
pent-up demand and the power to drive a whole level of growth.
This brighter world will start us
and will end with us. Harold W. Becker stated:” We realize our dreams of a
brighter world when we recognize the love within”. For many of us,
accomplishment of our dreams is directly tied to what we love, show passion for
or for whom we provide service. These are the essence in our respective fields
of expertise.
