Business planning for the Holiday Season starts several months

before the consumer decides to buy any product or service. Think about

your business plans. Who are you looking to reach? Who will be interested

in your products and services? What is your advertising budget? What are

your sales goals? Do you have the required to stay in operation or increase

your operation? Do you need to obtain and secure capital in order to put

your business plans into action? Do you need more personnel to help

implement your business plans? Are we making sure our tax preparation

will be taking care of once the Holiday Season concludes?

The time to plan for this is now. When the Holiday Season begins a

business owner must be prepared, ready, and able to seize every

opportunity to take care of their customers and clients. This is best done

through thorough preparation.

Typically, October to December is one of the largest transfer of

quarterly revenue in the consumer market. There will be ample market

share for businesses. How much of it will be yours? How will you prepare

and set the stage for a successful Holiday Season.

Preparation is also our personal considerations. Will longer hours be

involved? Do we have plans in place to take care of our families during this

very busy time? Is there a self-care plan that you will use to recover from

the holiday season. All of these are worth considering before having the

best revenue generating quarter of your business. May your service leads to

huge customer satisfaction and more abundance.

VET STORY “We Declared Freedom” By Reginal G. Lyerly Before there was ever a United States of America, there were 13 colonies. Their legislative body was the Continental Congress. On July 2 nd 1776, this congress voted in favor of independence and the Declaration of Independence was drafted on July 4 th 1776 by Thomas Jefferson (3 rd U.S. President). Massachusetts was the first state to make July 4 th an official state holiday. The tradition of fireworks on this day dates back to 1777 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during its first organized celebration. The ship’s cannon fired a 13- gun salute in honor of the 13 colonies.
